 Pinecrest Business and Technology Park is located within the City of Beckley and Raleigh County in the New River Gorge region of southern West Virginia. It is part of the 4-C Economic Development Authority, a regional initiative that combines the assets of four counties to promote economic growth.In recent years the economy of the City of Beckley and Raleigh County has been stimulated by easy access provided by the road transportation system. As a result, Raleigh County is a regional hub for shopping and services in southern West Virginia and has benefited from growth in the retail sector, hospitality industry, manufacturing and housing. This regional hub includes fourteen counties with a population of approximately 636,000 providing a labor force of 268,000. |
